We all know that owning a dog can get expensive. Well consider for one minute how expensive it is to have 23 dogs and now think about them all being Mastiffs. Great Plains Mastiff Rescue is only able to help MAstiffs with private donations. With 23 Mastiffs in our organization and more than 1/2 of them being medical cases it can get very expensive to run this program. Think about 23--100# plus doses of Heartworm Preventative a month and 23 doses of 100# plus of Flea & Tick meds a month. Never mind the spay & neuter of a dog that is 100# plus.
